Super Stache Saturday

Happy Halloween! And in honor of that I thought I would showcase a moustache that will most likely be passed around to all the trick or treaters tonight.
Julius Pringles, also known as the sweet looking gent on the pringles can. 'Once you pop, you can't stop' is the very truthful jingle that sweet little Julius represents. And it's true, I can't get enough of his pringles stache and bow tie!

Lindsay Price.
She is another fabulous fashionista that I adore. Not only is her on screen wardrobe amazing (The Lipstick Jungle) she also brings some great pieces to everyday wear. Those red shoes are beautiful. And now that she has the best accessory of them all (new boyfriend Josh Radnor) she is set for any special event.

Horst Glasker.
Born in Germany in the late 1940's, he currently resides in Dusseldorf. This talented German artist works with music, dance, theatre, drawing, painting, sculpture, installation and architecture.
In the above pictures* I just featured some of his painting and mosaic work with architecture, but peruse his website if you have a few minutes. Definitely interesting.

Retro Style (Formerly 50's Style)

Leslie Mann.
This funny lady is actually married to Judd Apatow who had directed Leslie is some of her most well known roles (Knocked Up and Funny People). Their two daughters also had starring roles in both movies.
Love the wide brimmed hat and the suitcases. Makes me want to go on vacation, right now!

Why Don't You Just Walk All Over Me

championes - rug

mota 2 - rug

broken - rug

afro - bedspread
These beautiful rugs are from a company called Gandia Blasco, or more recently GAN.
The company was created in Ontynient (Valencia) in 1941. They started by making blankets, then in the 90's with the arrival of Jose A. Gandia Blasco they started making rugs and bed spreads.
The patterns on these floor covers are so beautiful and artistic. I would be afraid to get them and spill something on them. For now I will just look, maybe one day I'll be able to afford one of these beautiful pieces, and I'll hang it on my wall.

Monday Hottie

Mark Salling.
I am an avid Glee watcher, and Mark plays the character of Puck. It wasn't until last episode where he sang a cover of Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline' that I became a Puck fan. Plus the fact that he's gorgeous doesn't make it any harder.

Super Stache Saturday

Ned Flanders, full name Nedward Flanders.
Heidi ho neighbor-ino. Homer Simpson's Christian neighbor is certainly a peppy one. And despite being 60 years old, his moustache hasn't aged a day since we first saw him in 1989.
Talk about good grooming!

Style Envy

casual

dressy - structured

dressy - flowy

So I have much much style envy (emphasis on the envy) for Camilla Belle. I've never really noticed her style until I started looking through pictures of her. She is someone that I would love to emulate, not just in style but the way she carries herself. Love this girl, even if she did date a Jonas brother!

It's In The Toys

For a while now I've known the two types of dogs I will get to make my future home and life more warm and welcoming. And I'm going to introduce you to them:

Papillion (french for butterfly) one of the smaller breeds of the toy dog breeds. These friendly dogs get along with just about anything that doesn't threaten them.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is on the larger side of the toy dog breeds. These dogs are very loyal and in my opinion have the epitome of 'puppy dog eyes'. It's hard for me not to fall in love.

I can not wait to have a secure enough environment to add these two little delights to my family.

50's Style

Jess Weixler.
Most well known for her role in the movie Teeth. She has yet to sink her teeth into any juicy roles. But she does look cute perched on the railing of that cruise liner.

Done With A Little Hart...

Hart and Huntington that is.
Pink's former husband/current lover Carey's clothing line is coming out with a new round of clothes. And guess who the models are? Shocker! I love this picture, maybe because it's quite obviously symbolic of their relationship. Congrats (I guess) to Pink and Carey's reunion.

Monday Hottie

James Franco.
He's someone I consistently forget about. But only because he chooses not to place himself in the public eye. He's quickly becoming a respectable actor, and recently received his undergraduate degree in English at UCLA.
He's definitely someone who's making a good name for himself in Hollywood, and his face doesn't hurt to look at either.

Most well known as Rhett Butler in the well known story of Gone With The Wind.
Beautiful man, beautiful moustache.

Olivia Wilde.
Not only is she stunning as a person, her clothing choices seem to match that. Olivia never fails to impress with dress after dress. She even pulls off a casual dress quite nicely.
I'm loving the leather bomber jacket with scarf and the dark tights with peep toes. Still trendy for fall this year.

50's Style

Alexa Davalos.
Born and raised in America, she has had some small parts in movies like The Chronicles of Riddick and The Mist. And was a cast member of the tv show Reunion (one of my favourites).
This picture is making me want a yellow beach towel, a torquoise phone... and a tan.

Like A Leaf Catches Water...

Check out this nature planter. It's so structurally unique, like a flower blossom. I'm actually kind of obsessed with it.
Yes I put it on my wish list, and yes I would get it in grey or white.

Monday Hottie

Andy Samberg.
Not only is he a hottie, he's quite a musical genius. Before he was heavily involved in SNL, he formed a comedy trio with Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer (writers for SNL) called The Lonely Island.
Andy has become known for his quirky and hilarious Digital Shorts on SNL such as Dick In A Box, Mother Lover and Lazy Sunday. If haven't seen any of them, prepare to laugh yourself silly.

Super Stache Saturday

Yosemite Sam.
He always had it out for poor old Bugs Bunny. I suppose it's a good thing Yosemite Sam never caught Bugs, it would be hard getting rabbit out of that sweet red stache.

50's Style

Alice Eve.
Fairly unknown in the US, born overseas in one of my favourite places, the UK. According to Wikipedia she will be starring in the upcoming Sex And The City movie.
Although silver shoes aren't my favourite, I'm taking a liking to the silver peep toes she is sporting in the photo above.

Monday Hottie

Zac Efron.
While I feel a little bit cougar-ish putting him as my M.H. for today, lets face it... he is. Despite all the makeup and hair jokes, he is actually quite handsome and getting better looking as he ages.
And honestly, if you haven't seen 17 Again, I recommend it. It is quite hilarious and he is really good in it. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone you're downloading it right now ;)

Super Stache Saturday

these will definitely make me start drinking coffee

yay fall!
Moustache fun!
My good friend Corie featured these little delights in her blog this week, and little did she know I have a small, tiny moustache obsession. Needless to say, along with the t-shirt graphic I posted last week, these are definitely on my wish list! I can feel my hands getting colder in preparation for those gloves.

Jessica Alba.
With or without baby, she seems to amaze me with her style. The girl can not look bad. Although she may be lacking in other departments *cough*acting.skills*cough* she certainly knows how to wow with her style. I just hope she passes that gene down to her daughter Honor.
