Monday Hottie

So today's entry might be a little bit obscure to some, but to those of you who know me, I think you'll get a kick out of this one.
Brian Bailey is a well known Canadian designer who is currently a mentor on Project Runway Canada. But honestly, the reason he's my Monday Hottie is the mustache. Lately I've been finding men with mustaches more and more attractive. My friend thinks he looks like an older Josh Duhamel. I'll let you come to your own conclusions on that one, but don't stare at the mustache for too long or you'll fall in love :)

Style Envy

So by now you all know that I lust after 50's fashion, so when Christina Aguilera made her turn around from hoochie to married she also brought with her some great little outfits.
Her style changes with the seasons, but I would like to pay homage to what I think her greatest season was (circa 2007).
Hopefully, one day, she will come back to her retro style. But for now, all we have are the pictures.

Monday Hottie

Today's Monday Hottie comes by way of special request. And believe me, it wasn't that hard to agree to this one. He is definitely a long time hottie.
Leonardo Dicaprio has certainly had an interesting career, from starting off acting on Growing Pains to producing his own movie The 11th Hour.
It seems like every role he's in is better than the last, not only is this guy as talented as they come, he still gives girls weak knees!
Happy Birthday Jen!! I hope this gets you through the day :)
One more picture, because I just couldn't decide which one I liked best.

Spotted, Blair Waldorf showing us what daddy could only afford.
Seriously... Leighton Meester's character has quite possibly the best wardrobe on television! I can't stop enjoying everything she wears. I look forward to Gossip Girl Mondays almost more for the clothing than the story line. And the headbands.... cuuute!
xoxo Gossip Girl.

Monday Hottie

I've neglected my blog this weekend, but I'm back for another Monday.
This weeks hottie is kind of an obscure choice. His name is AJ Buckley. He's most well known for playing Adam on CSI:NY. I was watching it the other day thinking just how cute he was. He definitely deserves a Monday spot. Not to mention he was born in Ireland, but raised in BC!

The Secret Is Og

One of my favourite books when I was younger was a book by Pierre Burton called The Secret World Of Og
Not only were the illustrations fabulous, I remember reading it and getting completely lost in the story.
Brief synopsis: Penny, Pamela, Peter and Patsy start out on an adventure searching for their youngest brother Paul who disappeared from their playhouse. They find a secret trap door (in said house) that leads them to the World Of Og.
I'm dusting off my copy and flipping through it right after I post this.

Monday Hottie

So I woke up and went to work this morning thinking I was forgetting to do something. I had such an off day, breaking things, forgetting to do obvious things... then it finally hit me. I haven't chosen a hottie to get me though my work week!!
This weeks hottie is Robert Hoffman. For those of you who have seen Step Up 2: The Streets (I just watched it last night) you will most likely agree with my choice. This guy is hot, there's no way around it.
Fun fact, not only is he an amazing dancer, he's actually the Urban Ninja. He had some what of a cult following on You Tube a while back.
*whew* Hopefully I can have a peaceful rest of the evening now that that is taken care of.

Cent, or un zéro zéro

Yay, I've reached 100 views. Granted, some of those are from me visiting my blog to post something, but I've still reached 100.

Skirts

Dresses

I don't know why I haven't thought of Lauren Conrad before now. I envy just about everything she puts on. She is my ultimate Style Envy. The girl knows how to dress, and if I was her size and had her wallet I'm sure I'd be wearing similar clothing.
Not only does she have fantastic hair and makeup, the fact that she has a (some what expensive and) cute line of clothing out is awesome too. I adore all the decisions she makes, and I can't wait to hear and see more from this girl, who is a style icon to many.

Heart Of Stone

Drops On A Rose

deviantART is one of my favourite sites for showcasing talented (and unfound) artists. So it's no surprise that I like the photography of Shokata9. An artist from Finland, who goes by the name of Jen.
She knows detail. I love that she can find the most beautiful detail in the simple things.
Check her out if you get a chance.

Monday Hottie

It's that time of the week again, when I feature a new yummy boy to get you through the insufferable work week ahead.
Today's choice is Shia Lebouf. Over the weekend I saw a trailer for what is going to be one of the biggest movies of the year. Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen. If you haven't seen the trailer, click here.
While Shia went through some problems last year, he's well on his way back to original fighting form. He's definitely someone I'm looking forward to seeing succeed in the future.

Style Envy

Dita Von Teese. In my opinion, she's the epitome of class and grace. The woman never looks bad. While she has had a bit of a controversial career, you can't take your eyes off of her.
I love that she's bringing back the style from the 50's (my favourite style era) and taking no prisoners. Even little Evan Rachel Wood is looking more and more like her everyday.
Side Note: Evan started dating Marilyn Manson after Dita finished divorcing him.
