Monday Hottie

Matthew Goode. Not to be confused with Matt Good, Canadian singer.
This adorable English actor has had small parts in Match Point and The Watchmen. This year he was in the movie Leap Year, which I saw not too long ago. It's a chic-flic with a predictable ending, but he's just so cute playing opposite Amy Adams. Plus he has a Irish accent in the movie and going from English to Irish isn't a terrible thing.

Super Stache Saturday

I went to Karaoke last night, and I'm pretty sure one of the guys sang a Jimi Hendrix song. I say pretty sure, because the guy was so terrible I couldn't even figure out what he was singing!
That got me thinking about James Marshall Hendrix, which led to this glorious picture of his moustache. His moustache, although very epic, is shadowed by his legendary rock career. While details of his death are still a mystery, his music and 'stache will always be a part of our lives.

Style Envy

casual

dressy

It's been a few weeks since I've given you pictures of style to envy, but I'm done running around like a chicken.
Dakota Fanning. This little cherub has grown up right before our eyes. Staying out of the spotlight for a few years has given her a chance to attempt a normal high school life. But with a small role in New Moon, and her upcoming movie Runaways (also with Kristen Stewart) she's making her presence known once again on the big screen. Showcasing her acting skills in the highly anticipated Eclipse, out this summer, it only means we get to see more of Dakota and her fabulous style in the future.

My Mind Drifts Away With The Clouds

Art Of Love

Private Garden ~ stunning... my favourite

Between Heaven And Earth

All Wrapped In Black

Waiting To Be Kissed
Rita Saardi.
This talented Lebanese/Swedish fashion designer has five collections up on her website, and while they only consist of 10 to 12 pieces, the work put in them is stunning.
The thing I love the most about seeing designers collections, from when they first started to their current work, is how much they've changed. And Mrs. Saardi keeps getting better. Someone I'm definitely going to keep my eye on in the future.

Retro Style

Abbie Cornish. Born in Australia, she is more well known for allegedly breaking up Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe... and being in a movie called Stop-Loss.
I'm not sure how retro this style is but I do like the sheer and the ankle booties.

Weave Been Looking At This For A While Now

weave, weave, weave

forget wallpaper... just open the windows

you have tape on your floor...

Visually stunning artist Rebecca Ward knows how to keep your eyes busy for hours. Situated Austin, Texas she can transform any living space into a magnificent work of art.
Her installations remind me of the way Dexter, on the show of the same name, uses his tools to figure out where a victim was killed in relation to the blood on the floor.

Monday Hottie

Bradley Cooper.
Wholy hell he's hot. I don't know why I've waited so long to put him on the MH list, but finally, he's here!
Unless you've been living under a rock, you recognize him from The Hangover. He played the deliciously cocky best friend to the main character. His next big blockbuster is The A-Team, currently being filmed in Vancouver.
This boy is hot, and so is his career. Looking forward to seeing more of him in the future.

Super Stache Saturday

The moustache train has been stalled for a couple of weeks, but it's back in business bringing you a beauty from Sonny Bono.
Cher got it right when the fell in love with this marvelous moustached man. I got my eye on your moustache babe!

Retro Style

Isla Fisher... is a cute as a button! She's one of my favourite actresses in show biz right now, and on top of being from Australia, she's married to Borat!
And can we talk about how gorgeous that picture is? From the soft green backdrop to the fuzzy pink sweater. So cute!

If Plants Can Grow On Walls...

yep, she's naked... but the wall is neat

outdoor wall

what else would you put in a purse? plus the dress is cute

Came across something called Wooly Pockets. They are soft-sided garden containers ideal for growing gardens indoors and out! Who says you need a back yard anymore. The pockets are handmade in the US from recycled plastic bottles. How can you go wrong? They even have a 'living handbag' for the eco-fashion people.
Something that would be fun to play with in a small apartment, or even a great way to liven up a room in a house.

Monday Hottie

Just finished watching Season 1 & 2 of True Blood. I won't share my opinion here because today is all about the delicious Alexander Skarsgard. First Season he didn't really do anything for me, but I think it's because he was sitting for a good portion of the scenes he was in (or maybe it was the creepy long hair). But when that delicious piece of man stands up and his 6'4 frame takes over the screen... *sigh*
While Alex isn't my favourite True Blooder (I'll talk about who is next week), he is certainly someone that I look forward to seeing time and time again. Yum and yum.

Happy New Year

It's a new year, a fresh start. After experiencing some minor computer issues over the holidays, I'm back in business. Ready to start off the year and bring you more of what I love (if you've been able to tolerate it so far). I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, and cheers to making it through 2009 unscathed.
Being that 2010 is the year of the dog (my year) I have a feeling it's going to be a good one, with positive change. I can't wait!
