Wednesday Art

Hippie Girl

I found this artist one day when I was reading The Consumerist blog.
Her name is Tansy Myer, she is from California and found fame doing illustrations for Rocket Dog shoes back to school campaign. While she started out doing colourless drawings, her new style combines lithe girly figures with a plethora of colour.
She's definitely someone to keep your eye on.

Monday Hottie

Justin Long. Or The Mac Guy, as he's most well known.
I just saw the movie He's Just Not That Into You, and how can you not fall in love with this adorable (and somewhat sleazy) know it all. Plus I have a Mac... so I gotta represent.
Loving this guy and how hilariously funny he is.

Style Envy

Rachel Bilson sure knows how to dress (or at least her stylist knows how to help her). I always love seeing her out and about because she always looks cute... even when walking her dog!
From everyday wear to special events, she's someone to keep your style eye on.

Wednesday Art

Today's art comes courtesy of a graffiti artist by the name of Banksy. He is huge in London, and surrounding areas. His signature tag is a rat, and he is most well known for taking everyday objects and making art out of them. Really quite imaginative. Take a gander through his website if you have a few minutes.

Monday Hottie

Today's edition courtesy of Josh Duhamel. This man just recently got hitched to quite possibly one of the luckiest ladies out there (Fergie). Imagine, just for a few minutes, that you wake out of a deep sleep only to roll over and see that face sleeping beside you. Yes please!
Happy Monday.

Daydreams...

For the past 2 weeks I've been working... lots. So as I sit here, enjoying the sunbeam streaming into my room, I can't help but daydream about one of my favourite things in life... traveling.
Here is a list of my top 5 destinations:

1. England
This is somewhere I've wanted to go for a while. Not just because of the enticing accent, but because every time I read about it I can picture myself being there... enjoying the countryside and living the life.
I've had this place in mind for over ten years. I believe I saw it on a travel show in the late 90's and immediately knew that was someplace I wanted to go. It has always had this romantic feel to it, and because of that fact I've decided that I'm saving going there for my honeymoon (which isn't in the near future, but a girl can dream, right?).
A few seasons ago I saw Costa Rica on a little show called The Amazing Race. And ever since then I've been in lust over it.
Don't ask me why Australia is so far down on the list, but I believe it was the first country (other than my own) that I ever fell in love with. I did a project on it in grade 7 and haven't stopped thinking about it since.
Aah New York. I fell in love with you in movies and tv shows. And you've captured a place on my list. Who doesn't want to go to New York? From the fashion to the scenery, it has a phenomenal energy about it.

Now that I have complied my list, take some time and think about yours. I guarantee it will make you smile on this sunny Sunday.

Monday Hottie

Time for another edition of Monday Hottie to get you through the week.
It's been a full week since my last post, and I will attempt to post more frequently this week.
This Monday I had a hard time deciding who to choose... I know, I know. There are so many hotties out there, why would it be hard for me to choose? Maybe I'm just indecisive today.
Today's hottie is courtesy of Jared Padalecki. Seriously, this boy is h..o..t. I've had the pleasure of seeing him in person, and wow... pictures don't do the boy justice.
I believe the word I'm looking for is speechless.

Monday Hottie

Another start to the week, another delicious boy to look at.
This time it's David Cook. He rose to fame in 2008 on a little show called American Idol. He was crowned the winner last year, and has been stealing hearts ever since.
