50's Style

Vinessa Shaw. Not too much is known about her, she's had a few small parts in some well known movies.
But look at how adorable she looks all made up in that cute vintage shirtdress and relaxing on that beautiful car.

Monday Hottie

For the record, I had a hard time trying to find a picture of this guy with a shirt on... not that I'm complaining, but he's more well known for his body than his body of work.
Robert Buckley, this sometimes actor, always hottie has had slew of guest starring roles on a some popular TV shows (including a personal favourite, Lipstick Jungle) and is about to add to the list. The latest news is that he's joining the cast of One Tree Hill come the fall.
It will definitely be nice to see him on my TV screen again.

50's Style

If you've been a follower of my blog you've probably noticed that I've featured a few ladies (Dita Von Teese, Christina Aguilera) who fight right into this category.
If I were born in another decade I would choose the 50's hands down.
For the next few weeks I will feature pictures of some famous faces in 50's style pinup shots. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do.

Monday Hottie

Neil Patrick Harris. He hosted the Tony Awards last night, and is a gorgeous man altogether.
He's most famously known for Doogie Howser: MD, playing Doogie. And according to Wikipedia, he's a magician. Who knew?
While we celebrate the beauty that is NPH, take a look at the spoof picture of the Olympic swimming team that the guys from How I Met Your Mother made. Too funny!
L-R: Jason Segel, Josh Radnor, Neil Patrick Harris

Super Stache Saturday

Charlie Chaplin. One of the most famous actors of his time. He was a silent film star and won a few oscars for his work.
Probably one of the smaller moustaches I'm going to feature, but still a great one.

Wednesday Art

It's been a while since I've posted during the week. I just got a new job, so I have more regular hours. Yay!
Today's post comes courtesy of a musical duo from Mali. Amadou & Miriam, known as 'the blind couple from Mali', met at Mali's Institute for the Young Blind. Through their love of music, and each other, they decided to team up and start making beautiful sounds.
I was introduced to their music by a friend, and it's just so positive. Even though I can't understand most of it (it's in French) it's hard to stop listening to it.
I really recommend having a listen if you have a few minutes.
I've included two links to songs on youtube.
